"Oshun Organics was born from a quiet rebellion, a refusal to accept harmful chemicals and synthetic ingredients as the norm in skincare. I’ve always believed that what we place on our skin is just as important as what we put within our bodies. Research shows that up to 70% of topical ingredients can be absorbed into the bloodstream, a truth underscored by transdermal patches used for hormones, nicotine, and vitamins. What we choose to wear on our skin truly matters.
So I began crafting body butters and face creams at home from my kitchen, blending ethically sourced natural butters and oils. These blends were initially for myself as I no longer wanted to subject my skin and wellbeing to chemicals, I did not plan a business. I soon realised that daily nourishment with these creams transformed not only my skin but my connection to myself. I understood that natural skincare, when rooted in purity and intention, can be an act of self love and overall wellbeing.
I started gifting my products to my friends and family, who not only embraced them but nudged me towards starting a business and those early believers are still my best customers today!
Today, Oshun Organics continues to evolve. I’m constantly researching rare butters and plant oils, curating formulas that celebrate nature’s wisdom. Crystals now enhance my products, a touch of earth to awaken the skin and spirit, infusing each blend with energy and intention.
